The logo for "Walk By Faith" uses the koru for fern frond so often used by Maori as a symbol of life and openness to life.  There are three fern fronds representing the three years of the course.  The frond at the bottom represents Year One, full of potential for new growth through the "Walk By Faith" course. 

Each subsequent fern frond is more open indicating the growth in life that has taken place as each year grows out of the previous one.  This growth takes place within the process or structures of the course shown by the crescent shaped foundation in which the koru is firmly rooted.  This crescent is open at the top to indicate further growth beyond the three year course.
